We have already shared a techcrunch style widget for blogger and many of you liked it,but this time we have added a jQuery pop up for it.To add a popup to this widget here we have used jQuery colorbox plugin,also I have customized this widget in little amount and makes it more colorful than old widget.For this gadget I am providing a widget generator so that you can easily implement it into your blogger blog without tension of changing usernames and other boring things :) Now lets see how to add it to blogger blog.First see the demo of the gadget by clicking on the blue button below,
How To Add Popup TC. Style Widget To Blogger?
Follow below simple widget generators to add this widget to your blog.
- You must login to your Blogger Account first.
- Only enter usernames of your social profiles not whole URL.
- When all done hit Generate button
- Finally hit Add to Blogger button.
- Leave title field blank
- On page layout drag this gadget at the bottom of the page.
Important Note - I have added a cookie in this widget that's why it may not visible to you when visits your blog,simply take a backup of your data and delete all of your browsers cookies and caches and then visit your blog,you will notice the popup.
Popup Customizations
I have set the cookie refresh time to 7 days that means this popup will appear only once in 7 days to that specific visitor.If you want to appear this gadget daily the simply find and change the *7 value to *1 invar fifteenDays = 1000*60*60*24*7; code.I hope that you have liked this widget.If you are getting any little kind of problem then feel free to share it via comment box. :)
